An Air India flight made an emergency halt in Norway after a passenger lost his life on board.
An Air India Delhi-Chicago flight made an emergency stop in Norway on Tuesday after a passenger died on board.
Indian Embassy in Norway said on Twitter that the man died on AI 127 Delhi-Chicago flight on Tuesday.
“AI 127, Delhi-Chicago flight, made an emergency halt in Oslo on 16/11/2021. One of the passengers lost his life on board. His wife was also flying with him. We are making arrangements for transportation of the mortal remains of the deceased as also travel of his wife to India,” tweeted the Indian Embassy in Norway.
According to the Embassy officials, all other passengers on-board have been shifted to the hotel and provided with food & other essential supplies.
“We are in constant touch with Air India and making arrangements for departure of flight ASAP,” tweeted the embassy.
