The story of Lakshmi and Shekhar Challa has comedy, emotions and drama. In their own words, this is a typical Bollywood story.

Shekhar Challa, an engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, moved to the US for further studies in 1988.

However, this is not how the story starts. It started in the 1940s when Lakshmi’s father, a world-renowned agricultural economist, was invited to work in the US.
