दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने सरकार से पूछाः वैध OCI कार्ड के बावजूद डिपोर्ट क्यों किया?

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने भारत सरकार से जवाब तलब किया है कि एक ब्रिटिश नागरिक को डिपोर्ट क्यों किया गया जबकि उसके पास ओसीआई कार्ड था.

यह मामला मार्च महीने का है जब एक ब्रिटिश नागरिक अपने परिवार से मिलने भारत गया था.

समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई के मुताबिक भारत सरकार की ओर से अदालत में हाजिर हुए वकील ने कहा कि ब्रिटिश नागरिक ब्लैकलिस्ट में था क्योंकि उस पर पिछले साल मार्च में दिल्ली में हुई तबलीगी जमात में शामिल होने के आरोप था.

इस दलील पर जस्टिस प्रतिभा सिंह ने कहा कि तबलीगी जमात को हुए तो एक साल बीत चुका है और याचिकाकर्ता के पास वैध ओसीआई कार्ड है.

अदालत ने सरकार को एक नोटिस जारी कर इस मामले में एक हलफनामा दाखिल करने को कहा है.

याचिकाकर्ता 5 मार्च को मुंबई आया था. उसके मुताबिक उसकी पत्नी और माता-पिता भारत में रहते हैं और वह उनसे मिलने आया था.
