Police looking for Indian Sub-continental appearance man over sexual misconduct incident

NSW Police have released images of a man and have appealed for information following a sexual touching incident in Granville last year.

About 11.45pm on Sunday 12 December 2021, a 24-year-old woman was approached by an unknown male near Good Street and Parramatta Road, Granville.

The woman told police the male lifted her up and pushed her into a nearby bush before sexually touching her and then leaving the scene.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident and have released images of a male who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, aged in his 30s, of medium build, with black hair and black facial hair. He is depicted wearing a black t-shirt with ‘The Police’ graphic, grey shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who can help identify the male, is urged to contact police.
