NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Sydney’s west.

23-year-old Saim Kugashiya has been missing from Quakers Hill since Friday, 10 September. According to the police, he was last seen leaving his home in Alford Street, Quakers Hill, about 10.25 am on Friday, 10 September 2021.

“Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were alerted on Sunday 12 September 2021 and commenced inquiries to locate him,” police said in a statement.

“Concerns are held for Saim’s welfare as this is out of character.”

“Saim is possibly wearing a faded denim hooded jacket, grey t-shirt, long black pants, black ‘Nike” shoes and carrying a black backpack,” reads the statement adding that he is described as of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 18- to 185cm tall, of medium build, with short dark hair.

As inquiries continue into Saim’s whereabouts, police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Riverstone Police Station on (02) 98382199.
