Budaun-boy receives Australia’s ‘most prestigious’ visa

Dr Akram Ahmad has received Australia’s highly prestigious Global Talent Visa, a streamlined visa pathway for highly skilled professionals to work and live permanently in Australia.

Dr Akram Ahmad has received Australia’s prestigious Global Talent Visa.

Akram Ahmad received a full scholarship to pursue the PhD degree at Sydney University in 2017. In, 2018, he completed a study on Diabetes in Indian migrants of Australia.

He has worked as an assistant professor at Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad (UP) and then as a lecturer at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He filed is Expression of Interest in 2020, just before finishing his PhD and received an invitation to apply for the Visa in April this year and got his Visa in May.

Dr Ahmad says the ‘Expression of Interest’ is a very important document in the process.

‘Work hard, don’t lose focus and you can achieve almost anything,’ he adds.
