Jeevan Stambh Foundation fundraising to support evicted Khori Gaon families

Jeevan Stambh Foundation is raising funds to support 2000 families in Khori Gaon, Haryana who urgently need shelter as they are facing eviction since the past few months and have been fighting day and night to save their homes. With a looming third wave, burning heat and coming monsoon, their survival is extremely difficult without a shelter. There are infants, pregnant women and old people who have no place to sleep, eat, bath or even rest, they have no place to call as their home anymore.

DoctorsOnRoad for Rural India

A large part of the healthcare infrastructure in rural India is under extreme stress. A group of civic-minded doctors led by Dr Harjit Bhatti of AIIMS Delhi, Dr Kafeel Khan of Gorakhpur and many others will be travelling to the hinterland to assess the ground realities and offer treatment and relief to patients.

CARE

CARE is working closely with the Indian Government to set up temporary hospitals with oxygen supplies, medical staff, PPE kits, and other essentials. CARE’s dedicated 100-bed COVID Care Centre in Bihar has already started admitting patients.


UNICEF

UNICEF Australia has launched the India COVID-19 Crisis Appeal to provide lifesaving assistance to people affected by the pandemic in India.


Indian Red Cross Society

The Indian Red Cross Society’s staff and volunteers are running blood donation campaigns, delivering aid and medical supplies and providing other essential services across India.


ActionAid

ActionAid is on the ground working in 24 states across India to scale up an urgent response to the crisis, supporting the most vulnerable including through: large-scale distribution of safety and sanitation kits, including protective items to vulnerable workers and communities; establishing help desks to provide lifesaving information and connect people to health services; direct cash transfers for food and medical needs to the most vulnerable households; and setting up testing and vaccination centres.

Feeding India by Zomato is providing hospitals and patients with oxygen and related supplies.


Khalsa Aid

Khalsa Aid, an international NGO with the aim to provide humanitarian aid in disaster areas and civil conflict zones around the world, is providing emergency food and oxygen supplies to people affected by COVID in India.


JMI Alumni Victoria GoFundMe

GoFundMe campaign by members of Jamia Milia Islamia Alumni Victoria (Australia) will donate funds to known on-ground charities working on COVID relief in India.

TWEET Foundation’s GoFundMe campaign to support the basic needs of transgender people in India during the COVID-19 pandemic.


Rise Against COVID for Plasma Donation

Apne Aap Covid Relief

This project by Apne Aap COVID Relief will distribute 1 Million Meals to the Apne Aap women in the red light areas of Kolkata, Forbesganj, Bihar and Delhi who are hit hard in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic .
