Australian Department of Home Affairs has issued only 200 skilled visas in the January invitation round with a minimum score of 90 points.
The Department of Home Affairs (Doha) has issued this financial year’s 3rd invitation rounds for skilled independent (SC 189).
Two hundred invitations were issued in the 21 January round with a minimum of 90 points. Another 200 invitations were issued for Family-Sponsored SC 491 with a minimum score of 80 points.

A similar number of invitations were issued in October round. Total invites in 2021-22 for SC189 are 650 and 900 for Family-Sponsored visas.
In January round, SC 189 invites were dominated by health occupations.
