FECCA 2024 to highlight challenges faced by CALD communities across Australia.

The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) 2024 Conference will be taking place on 16 -17 October at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) 2024 Conference is returning, and will be taking place on 16 -17 October at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year, in partnership with the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ), the event is shaping up to be a must-attend gathering.

The conference, themed “Our Experiences. Our Future.”, will focus on the strengths and challenges of culturally and linguistically diverse communities across Australia.

Attendees can look forward to keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and valuable networking opportunities.

Key Speakers

Key speakers at FECCA 2024 include Giridharan Sivaraman, the current Commonwealth Race Discrimination Commissioner; Christine Castley, Chief Executive Officer, Multicultural Australia; Senator Paul Scarr, Senator for Queensland, Shadow Assistant Minister for Multicultural Engagement LNP; Dr Bulent Hass Dellal AO, Executive Director, Australian Multicultural Foundation; Hon Mark Butler MP, Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care; Hon Julian Hill MP, Assistant Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs; Max Chandler-Mather MP, Member for Griffith; among others.
