The University of Chicago has offered Swega Swaminathan a full scholarship to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Swega Swaminathan, a daughter of a farmer from Kasipalayam village in Erode district of Tamil Nadu, has been accepted to the University of Chicago.

According to Sharad Vivek Sagar, 17-year-old Swega was trained by Dexterity global under its leadership development and career development program.

Sagar shared the news of Swega’s success on Twitter.

“THIS IS HUGE!! A 17-yr-old Dexterity to College fellow from Erode in Tamil Nadu, the daughter of a small farmer, Swega, has been accepted to the University of Chicago, one of the top 10 universities in the world, on a full scholarship worth ₹3 crores. (sic),” he posted.
