A viral video has brought attention to the harrowing experience of a family traveling from Delhi to Toronto on an Air India flight. Shreyti Garg, the passenger, shared her discomfort, revealing broken seats and a non-functional entertainment system in a social media post.

In the video, Garg expressed her disappointment with the service provided by Air India despite paying a hefty sum of 4.5 lakh INR for the journey. She narrated her ordeal of having broken seats and no entertainment system on the flight, creating a challenging situation for her family, which included two young children aged 2.5 years and 7 months.

Garg described how the crew failed to address the issues despite multiple complaints. She highlighted the risks posed by broken seat handles and exposed wires, especially concerning the safety of her toddler. Despite reporting the problems, the airline’s response was limited to attempting a system reboot, which did not resolve the issues.

The passenger also emphasized the inconvenience faced by parents traveling with young children, underscoring the high ticket prices and the expectation of a smooth journey for passengers. Garg’s video showcased the extent of the malfunction, including the use of her phone’s torch to navigate the dark cabin due to malfunctioning overhead lights.

The incident raises concerns about the quality of service provided by Air India, especially considering the premium paid for the tickets. The video has gained significant attention on social media, prompting discussions about the responsibility of airlines to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
