Job opening: Indian High Commission in Canberra is hiring

High Commission of India in Australia has an opening for an Australian citizen/Permanent residents or having relevant full-time work permit.

Indian High Commission is looking for someone with good communication skills.

A job notification posted on the High Commission’s website says, “High Commission of India, Canberra is inviting applications for the post of clerk with gross starting salary of AUD 3780.00. Applicants should be graduate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Linux operating systems, basic computer networking knowledge, mail merge or similar tools.”

According to the notification, the candidate should be an Australian citizen/Permanent Resident or having relevant full-time work permits with good communication and writing skills. Work experience in a similar field would be an advantage.

Officials of the Indian High Commission confirmed that the salary for this role is $3,780 per month.

“Interested candidates may please send their application along with detailed resume and supporting documents by email to: hoc.canberra@mea.gov.in or admn.canberra@mea.gov.in by 23 June 2021,” reads the notification.
