Updated: Gursher Singh has been traced safe and sound.

19-year-old Gursher Singh, a Melbourne resident, left his home on 27 May 2021 to drive an Uber and has not yet returned. He has not been in touch with anyone since Thursday, 27 May, around 3 pm.

Gursher Singh’s friend Bhupinder Singh, who posted an appeal on Facebook, told NRI Affairs that he was in touch with Gursher until around 3 pm on Thursday.

“I was talking to him. Around 3 pm, he said he would speak later, and there is no trace of him after that,” said Mr Sigh, adding that he is worried about his friend who is an international student in Australia like him.

Gursher Singh hails from Amritsar in Punjab and arrived in Australia last year as a student.

Police have been informed about the incident, and anyone with any information can contact the police at 134444.
