Covid-19: Several Melbourne Indian stores ‘sites of concern’

Health Department of Victoria has updated its list of sites of concern after reporting a worker visited multiple food and groceries stores across metropolitan Melbourne between May 18 and May 27.

It was reported that one of the latest positive cases worked during their infectious period, without symptoms, for a large food distribution centre.

The new tier 1 exposure sites are:

  • Summerhill Shopping Centre at 850 Plenty Rd, Reservoir between 4:20pm and 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 18
  • Khalsa Sweets and Snacks at 3 Annalise Ave, Epping between 12:20pm and 1:10pm on Tuesday, May 18
  • Erol’s Fruit Shop at 319 Harvest Home Rd, Wollert between 11:25am and 12:10m on Tuesday, May 18
  • Hamara Bazaar at 315 Harvest Home Rd, Wollert between 10:30am and 11:30am on Tuesday, May 18
  • Bestway Supermarket at 200-208 Lonsdale St, Dandenong between 12:15am and 1:15pm Wednesday, May 19
  • Bestway Supermarket at 21-23 Cleeland St, Dandenong between 1:00pm and 1:40pm on Wednesday, May 19
  • Marmara Halal Meats at 141-145 Lonsadale St, Dandenong between 11:35am and 12:25pm on Wednesday, May 19
  • Sabrini Foods at 77 Boundary Rd, Carrum Downs from 2:00pm and 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 19
  • Spice Inn Groceries at 4/16-46 Cleeland Street, Dandenong from 1:00pm to 1:40pm on Wednesday, May 19
  • Indiagate Spices & Groceries at 14 C/560-590 High St, Epping on Wednesday, May 19
  • Epping Spices & Nuts Grocery Store at 6/1 Lyndarum Dr, Epping from 9:00am to 9:00pm on Saturday, May 22
  • Epping Spices and Nuts Grocery Store at 6/1 Lyndarum Dr, Epping from 9:00am to 9:00pm on Monday, May 24
