Her outfit and makeup also gave us a glimpse of the character she portrays in the film

Priyanka Chopra Jonas raised the temperature noticeably at the premiere of The Matrix: Resurrections in San Francisco, California on December 18. She is playing a character called Sati in the fourth instalment of The Matrix Film series.

Others on the red carpet included Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jada Pinkett Smith and Lana Wachowski among others.

Priyanka wore a custom-made Halpern floor-length dress, adorned with multicoloured sequins and a thigh-high leg slit that showed off her well-shaped legs to the utmost degree. The dress was set off by a rust-orange coloured fan-like pleat across her bodice. Priyanka also wore a perfect pair of Christian Louboutin pumps to accentuate her glamourous looks.

For jewellery, her stylist and image architect Law Roach, chose sapphire and diamond encrusted Bvlgari earrings and a beautiful ring to match, from their Divas Dream collection . Priyanka wore subdued makeup but for her eyes, that was made-up to highlight the futuristic theme of The Matrix series. Instead of the traditional flick, Chopra Jonas’ makeup artist Jo Baker, created an edgy look with a triple-winged eyeliner pattern that is sure to be a hit with partygoers this holiday season. The look complimented her sideswept voluminous hairstyle, that upped her glamour quotient a few notches.

Priyanka was accompanied to the gala event by her mother and her husband Nick Jonas’ parents. Nick himself was absent because somebody in his music troupe had tested positive for Covid-19, so he gave the premiere a miss.
